Dear Physics 2 students,

the final will be next Wednesday, September 9.

The final will cover the following chapters.

14.1 -- 14.5
17.1 -- 17.7
18.1 -- 18.5
19.1 -- 19.8
20.1 -- 20.7

Yes, I know that we will be covering most of Chapter 20 the day before
the final, but the crazy schedule of Summer session leaves me no choice.
I would recommend that you read Chapter 20 over the week-end
so that you will not see this material for the first time next week.

You should bring the following items to the final:
  - A scantron sheet like the ones we have been using for the quizzes
  - A pencil
  - A photo ID
  - (Optional) A calculator
  - (Optional) Two sheets of notes.  You can write on both sides.

All questions on the final will be multiple choice.

  Note that this final covered all chapters in the course.  It is also
  longer since students had 3 full hours to complete it.  You will
  only have 1 hour and 25 minutes.

As mentioned in class yesterday, I will hold a review session either
Monday evening (even if it is a holiday) or Tuesday evening.  Please
email with your preference, if any.  I will announce the time and
place of the review session by Friday evening (so watch your email
and the website).
At the review session I will answer questions and do problems that
you are having trouble with.  So, bring your questions with you.
