The distributions of scores for the Quizzes (maximum 28), Midterm (maximum 20), Final (maximum 18), and
Combined (maximum 100) is shown here.
(Combined = 30% Quizzes, 30% Midterm 40% Final).
Combined = 30*Quiz/28 + 30*Midterm/20 + 40*Final/18


Letter grades were assigned as follows:

• 80-100: A+
• 67-80: A
• 64-67: A-
• 59-64: B+
• 50-59: B
• 47-50: B-
• 44-47: C+
• 39-44: C
• 37-39: C-
• 0-37: F

In some cases, the letter grades were rounded up, particularly if the performance on the final was much better than the midterm.
